This is the one premium price allowed because current published data show >99.54% fluoride, 99.34% lead, >99.99% microplastics and >99% PFOA/PFOS reductions at a 100-gallon rating. It is NSF-certified only to 42 and 372; wider claims come from QFT/IAPMO New Jersey testing, not full ongoing NSF certification. The media—not the ordinary plastic jug—is what earns the price.
Impact-resistant and lighter than glass, although not materially luxurious for the price.
Broad adsorption and ion-binding performance explains the slow flow and high cartridge cost.
A clean, sturdy 10-cup shape, comfortable handle and mineral-retaining output make it pleasant daily. It is bulky when full, filters slowly and lacks a true volume-counting indicator—weaknesses buyers should accept only for the removal breadth.
The simple pitcher should last years and carries a lifetime warranty, but no meaningful repair ecosystem exists. Proprietary $55 cartridges are the long-term dependency.
