WHY THE PRICE IS JUSTIFIED
Its value is not resolution bragging: it buys a 1/2.5-inch Sony STARVIS sensor, uncompressed 1080p60, HDR, deep manual Camera Hub controls, onboard setting storage, thermal management, a replaceable 2m braided cable and built-in shutter. Plastic construction and no microphone prevent a higher rank.

DESIGN & ERGONOMICS
Low-profile, restrained and practical, with a built-in sliding shutter, tripod socket and long detachable cable. The body feels cheaper than it looks and the monitor clamp is not especially tight.
LONGEVITY
Detachable braided cable, onboard memory and thermal design are positives. The plastic sealed body has no user parts, but removing autofocus avoids a moving failure point.
