Two 250-sheet drawers, a single-pass duplex ADF and refillable tanks push per-page cost near toner's low end. Built for daily small-office volume, not occasional use.
$799 typical
At nearly $800 it is expensive, but its price is grounded in physical capability: 500-sheet input, single-pass duplex ADF, large-duty small-business construction and tank economics. PCMag calls it an incomparable value for small businesses/workgroups; it is not a good purchase for occasional printers.
Delivers instant-start pigment-ink document output without a laser fuser, but must be exercised regularly.
500-sheet capacity plus specialty-media feed is real office infrastructure.
Allows waste-ink and ink replenishment without replacing a cartridge assembly.
Boxy and heavy (about 39 lb), but thoughtfully organized as a workstation: two drawers, accessible tanks and a large color touchscreen. It looks purposeful rather than luxurious.
Strong for its intended workload: user-replaceable maintenance box, high-capacity paper hardware and a permanent head; long idle periods remain the inkjet caveat.
