WHY THE PRICE IS JUSTIFIED

FAZ's practical testing supports its workmanship, controlled handling and ability to cut either quickly or precisely. The price is supported by useful execution, rather than distribution breadth or brand prestige.

CRITERIA

9/10

Build Quality

FAZ praises very good workmanship.

9/10

Performance

Strong practical results across materials; bevels are a weakness.

8/10

Value

Good professional all-round performance at the recorded solo-tool offer.

IDEAL FOR

·General woodworking
·Existing Makita LXT users

NOT FOR

·Specialist bevel work
·Buyers needing battery and charger included

DESIGN & ERGONOMICS

Comfortable D-handle, controlled running and good safety features make it approachable. FAZ's caveat is that speed and precision are not simultaneously maximised; bevel results are weaker than general cutting.

LONGEVITY

Uses Makita's established LXT battery system, with the battery separate from the tool. No independently established service-life figure was found; confirm exact local parts support.
