The 40 mm tyres give the Sirrus X more reach onto rough pavement and light gravel. Hydraulic brakes, CUES 1×10 gearing and utility mounts broaden its remit, though testing covered an older build.
$1,100 typical
The price is supported by the current CUES 10-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, 40C gravel-oriented tires, internal routing, and rack, fender, and low-rider mounts. BikeRadar found the older model comfortable with effective gearing and strong braking, but that review used a different 1x9 drivetrain. No laboratory performance proof was supplied.
Butted aluminum keeps the frame practical and supports internal routing, flat-mount brakes, and rack and fender mounts.
The rigid alloy fork includes fender and low-rider rack mounts, but does not provide suspension.
The 700C disc wheelset supports the bike's utility and all-road purpose.
The geometry is relatively upright, with a 593 mm medium stack, 398 mm reach, 71-degree head angle, mini-rise bar, backsweep, and locking ergonomic grips. Quick-release wheels and the lack of suspension limit the design for more demanding terrain.
No defensible lifespan in years was established. The frame is not a consumable, but tyres, drivetrain and brake parts need routine servicing. Check exact replacement compatibility and local workshop support before purchase; review model-year differences mean historical component durability is not a current-build guarantee.
