Sea to Summit Ether Light XR Insulated Air Sleeping Pad
$229
Sleeping Pad (Camping Mattress) · RANK 01

Therm-a-Rest
An 11cm StrataCore foam-air core and vertical sidewalls form a full-width, quiet stretch-knit surface rated R 7 - premium pricing here maps to foam volume, not branding.
$275 typical
This is the one permitted premium because the construction is conspicuously expensive: 11 cm stabilized StrataCore loft, vertical sidewalls, R 7, two robust valves and a stretch-knit sleep surface. It is a construction-led luxury, not a logo-led one.
Provides self-inflating support, insulation and better compression than solid foam.
Quiet, skin-friendly and much less plasticky than typical air pads.
Preserves usable width and reduces edge roll-off.
Separate inflation and deflation paths simplify camp setup.
It looks and behaves like a well-resolved camp bed rather than a backpacking pad: full usable width, plush quiet fabric, gentle ribs and stability at low pressure. Its duffel/pump sack is useful, though bulky.
The foam-and-air architecture is less dependent on perfect high pressure than a pure air pad. Treat the valves and shell normally, dry before long storage, and expect the large stuff/pump sack to be part of the ownership trade-off.
