Collapsible Laundry Basket LUXE 60L

Name: Collapsible Laundry Basket LUXE 60L
Brand: CleverMade

A cotton-blend shell and leather-look grips soften the usual collapsible form. It folds to 1.5 inches and handles everyday loads well, but fabric care and long-term hinge life remain unclear.

WHY THE PRICE IS JUSTIFIED

The manufacturer lists a 60 L capacity, 55-lb weight capacity, steel wire rim, solid base board, reinforced handles and a 1.5-inch folded height. The Guardian identified it as an elegant portable basket after testing 10 baskets, but its $49.99 price is not supported by a long-term durability test and the available retailer evidence concerns a different CleverMade model.

MATERIALS

BodyCotton-blend fabric

The manufacturer says it gives the basket a more polished look for visible spaces.

Frame and baseSteel wire rim and solid base board

The manufacturer says these help the basket stand upright.

HandlesReinforced handles with vegan leather grips

The manufacturer says the reinforcement supports full-load carrying and the grips add comfort.

CRITERIA

9/10

Room-Worthy Form

The Guardian calls it an elegant portable laundry basket; the manufacturer cites cotton-blend fabric and vegan-leather grips.

8/10

Effortless Laundry Handling

The Guardian tested 10 baskets using two days of laundry; the manufacturer lists reinforced handles and upright construction.

6/10

Five-Year Fit

The 1.5-inch fold supports small-space storage, but the available hands-on test lasted two days and long-term durability is unverified.

7/10

Load-and-Airflow Test

The Guardian used baskets for two days of laundry; the manufacturer claims 60 L and 55 lbs, while this basket has a fabric body rather than perforated sides.

6/10

Wear, Wash, Repair

The manufacturer lists reinforced construction, but no exact-model repair or replacement-parts support is supplied and fabric-care limits are not established.

IDEAL FOR

·Small-space homes where storage bulk matters
·Users wanting a basket that can remain visible
·Dorms, apartments and bedrooms with stairs

NOT FOR

·Users wanting maximum airflow or hose-down cleaning
·People prioritizing independently verified long-term durability
·Those needing verified replacement parts

DESIGN & ERGONOMICS

The cotton-blend body, vegan-leather grips and visible-space positioning make it more decor-compatible than a basic utility basket. The steel rim and base board are intended to keep it upright, while the fabric is less evidently suited to hose-down cleaning than plastic.

LONGEVITY

The Guardian's supplied test used the baskets for two days of laundry and therefore supports handling, not five-year durability. CleverMade claims reinforced handles, a steel wire rim, base board and hinge connectors. No exact-model replacement-hinge or repair program was supplied. An Amazon review reports that a different CleverMade 64L caddy's snap feature can break easily and should not be treated as an exact-model test.
